There may even be an extra one at the bottom that we didn’t share on our Instagram! Here are the restaurants we love and want to share with you:

Gather

Address: 460 Doyle Ave #105, Kelowna, BC
Distance from Cozy Oasis: 11 kms/13 mins

Gather is an Italian-Korean Restaurant in Innovation Center. It opened in 2018, and has been popular ever since! Their menu is based around sharing so there is a variety of small, medium and large plates to choose from such as Smoked Pork Belly, Spaghetti Carbonara, Top Sirloin Steak Tataki and so much more. We encourage you to ‘Gather’ with your friends or colleagues here on your next visit to Kelowna.

“Gather’s interior, designed by restauranteur Luigi Cuccaro, draws on both Luigi’s travels and Italian heritage. Designed and built in Italy, Gather reflects the hip surrounding area, offering guests the ability to enjoy a meal with friends while watching passers-by in the glass-encased corner of the Innovation Centre, watch the art of cooking as it occurs in the open-kitchen.” – gatherkelowna.com

Salt & Brick

Address: 243 Bernard Ave, Kelowna, BC
Distance from Cozy Oasis: 10 kms/12 mins

Salt & Brick is a one of a kind restaurant in the heart of Downtown Kelowna, with views of the Okanagan Lake. This is another restaurant that bases their meals around sharing, and has a constantly changing menu featuring local foods, paired with a wine list of 101 wines from local, smaller wineries. How they got it’s name is quite the story:

“In September of 2017, Salted Brick Restaurant was purchased by Casey Greabeiel and Craig Lewis. Upon purchasing the restaurant they decided to stray from the original concept, which was a Premium Charcuterie establishment that cured their own meats. Hence, the name Salted Brick, which if you don’t know (we didn’t at first) is generally what is used to cure meats. In the first couple weeks of owning the restaurant, Casey’s 6 year old Step Son, Jack, continually referred to the restaurant as saltnbrick. While discussing the plan to renovate and rebrand the business we thought what better way to pay tribute to the past and also differentiate ourselves going forward then by following Jack’s lead in calling the business Salt and Brick. The Brick component of our name is quite a bit simpler, we reside in a building that was built in 1905 and maintains its original Brick on the East side of our restaurant. It’s one of the main reasons we purchased Salted Brick in the first place.” - saltandbrick.ca

RauDZ Regional Table

Address: 1560 Water St, Kelowna, BC
Distance from Cozy Oasis: 10 km/12 min

Raudz Regional Table is also in the heart of downtown, with spectacular waterfront views. They have a locally-focused, organic dinner menu and 100% of their wines are local! Their dinner & dessert menu has something for everyone — from a Chicken Confit Poutine, to Turkey Breast Picatta, to Sockeye Salmon BLT and Warm Apple Custard Cake to finish it off! Make sure to make a reservation!

“From the 21 foot long communal table, to the photographs of our suppliers on the walls, RauDZ© was meant to inspire friends & neighbours to linger, talk and generally just enjoy the food in this 106 year old heritage building. The first thing you notice on entering the restaurant is the reclaimed heartwood pine table.  This centuries old gleaming wood table sits on a trestle base reminiscent of the Kettle Valley trestles.   The table features no nails or screws but uses mortise, dowel and tenon construction.  The table was partially constructed on site with co-owner Audrey Surrao hammering  in the final dowel.  This work of art table was created by local woodworker, Will Brundula of Heartland Millworks. The bar is 28 feet in length constructed of a solid fir bar top from Vancouver Island. Photographic artwork adorning the walls features RauDZ© produce suppliers and some of their world-class fruits, vegetables, fish, bread and wine.  Each portrait represents a local farmer or producer who contributed to the success of the regionally focused creative menu of Chef Rod Butters.” -raudz.com

BNA Brewing Co. & Eatery

Address: 1250 Ellis St, Kelowna, BC
Distance to Cozy Oasis: 11 km/14 mins

If you want to add a little activity to your evening, this is the place to be! There is a tasting room, eatery and bowling alley all in one place! This building not only holds lots of entertainment, it also holds history — we will share a clip from their webpage below. You can find BNAs updated brew list on their webpage, as well as their menu that includes things like Steamed Pork Bun, Buffalo Chicken Sub, Tom Kha Gai Mussels and Clams, and so much more mouth-watering options!

“The building that now houses BNA has roots in Kelowna's history that began growing long before we arrived on the scene. The British North American Tobacco Company brought the tobacco industry to the valley in the early 1900s and with it came Louis Holman, an entrepreneur from Wisconsin with dreams of making it big in the great white north. Louis' visions became a reality and for a period of time Kelowna was a booming hub for the tobacco industry in Canada. The BNA building was used to dry tobacco leaves and roll cigars. However, this was relatively short-lived and soon the fantastic fruit industry that we know and love took over. Occidental Fruit Co. moved in and the building became a cannery. It was occupied by various canners until 1960 and has since sat largely vacant with a few different tenants here and there.” -bnabrewing.com
